Will Rogers Toastmasters Club 645

For Better Listening, Thinking, Speaking

President's Distinguished Club for Years 2001 - 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 2005

The Will Rogers Club Welcomes New Members

We are pleased to welcome several new members that have joined the club over the past few months. New members bring in fresh ideas, talents, and enthusiasm. At the same time, longer-term members provide the experience and expertise needed to foster the growth of the new members. The combination of the new and established members has created some great meetings with a lot of fun, fellowship, and learning.

The Will Rogers Club is a diverse group with different professional, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Four different nationalities are represented, including the UK, Taiwan, Venezuela and India. It is particularly rewarding to learn more about these countries.

Guests are always welcome. You can visit as much as you like and there is no requirement to speak at the meeting. Guests frequently tell us about the warm and fun atmosphere of the club. The “Magical Moment” award is given every meeting to that person who tells about an outside experience that was made possible by their training in Toastmaster. The “Bull Award” is also given in fun to a Toastmaster who may have committed a minor faux pas in the meeting.

Whether you're a professional, student, stay-at-home parent, or retiree, Toastmasters is the best way to improve your communication skills. Toastmasters can help you lose the fear of public speaking and learn skills that will help you be more successful in whatever path you've chosen. You'll be a better listener. You'll easily lead teams and conduct meetings. You'll comfortably give and receive constructive evaluation. You already have some or all of these skills. In Toastmasters, you will enhance them.
